Default Kick butt baked potatoes

I think this is one of the best ways to make a baked potato. So very good!

Baking Potatoes, cleaned.
Oil
Kosher Salt

I like to use olive oil, and I load the potatoes up with salt. The oil will help keep moisture inside the potato and will help with making the potato super fluffy inside.

Place your oven racks so there's one around 3/4th the way up and another one at the bottom, place a pan on the bottom rack. Preheat your oven to 350o. Take your cleaned potatoes, using a fork poke 15-20 holes in the potatoes. Place potatoes on a plate or in a bowl and lightly coat the potatoes with your oil of choice then salt them to taste Place potatoes directly on the top rack. Any drippings will be caught by the pan on the bottom rack. cook potatoes for 1 hour. If cooking more then 1 potatoes at one time you should add another 10-15 minutes, check potatoes with a tooth pick, if soft in the middle then they're done, if not, leave them in another 10-15 minutes.

My 2 cents on Campfire baked potatos.. THE BEST way to have potatos.

Take your potatos, smear them in butter, then salt & pepper.

Wrap in Aluminum Foil, and throw directly into campfire. Leave for 35-45 minutes.

I made these for my buddy when we went camping, and he liked them so much he made a firepit in his back yard just so he could do the same thing, because he realized cooking them on a grille like that just wasn't the same.

I've had a lot of potatoes in my time and if you're into "baked" potatoes the recipe I listed is by far the best way of doing it.
the meat turns out super fluffy.

Not to say what you listed wouldnt be good, but it doesnt give you a simple baked potato that you can work with.

You should post that recipe as a stand alone thread.
