Default Ca phe sua da tran chau. Vietnamese iced coffee with bubbles

This is a recipe for making a single serving of Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

Quote:
Vietnamese coffee grounds http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B002RRLZQW
4 TBS Vietnamese coffee filter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B000ELGPAO
2 TBS Sweeten Condensed Milk http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...SIN=B004H4N6XI
Ice
Hot filtered water
12oz glass
Bubbles (optional) Bubbles for bubble teas, coffees, smoothies
Start off by placing 2 TBS of sweeten condensed milk in a 12 oz glass.
Put around 8 oz of filtered water in a microwave safe container and microwave until its around boiling point. While the water is in the microwave place 4 TBS (less if you want it weaker) into the coffee filter, take the top piece and pack down the coffee grounds, just a soft packing, enough to cause it to get solid, too hard and it will take forever to filter the coffee, too little and it will go to fast. Your target brew time should be around 10-15 minutes. with about 1-2 drips a second.

Once the filter is packed, take your hand and wipe off the bottom to remove any loose grounds that might have come out during packing, if you don't do this, you will get coffee grounds in your drink.

Place the filter on top of the glass, by now your hot water should be ready, you don't want it boiling, just under a boil, pour into the filter until it reaches the top and then wait until enough coffee drips out for the water level to reach just above halfway down, then add more water once again to the top, then place the hat (filter top) on and walk away, it should take another 10 minutes to finish up.

Once finished it should be a very strong almost espresso like brew. Mix with a spoon then if using them, add bubbles. Before adding ice you can pour the coffee back and forth between two glasses to create a lot of foam on the top. Foam = Good! Once you have a nice foam, add enough ice to bring the drink up to the top of the glass.

Enjoy!

Just some pointers. I like brewing coffee ahead of time, mixing it with the milk and then allowing it to chill in the fridge to thicken up the milk a bit, it makes for a super creamy coffee and when you add ice it wont dilute it as much with melting ice from the warm coffee. It just makes for an overall better drink IMO
