Default moo shu pork

Also called Moo Shoo Pork

This recipe should serve about 4 people.
Quote:
Moo Shu wrappers
2 carrots cut into matchsticks
1 piece celery cut into matchsticks
1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
1 1/2 cups oyster or shiitake mushrooms cut into strips
1/2 cup dried black fungus
1/2 cup of bamboo cut into matchsticks
2 pieces of green onion cut into matchsticks
1 TBS Garlic minced
1/4 cup Rice cooking wine.
8oz Pork shoulder or other cheap cut of pork, cut into matchsticks
2 eggs
Oil for cooking

for sauce

1 TBS Soy sauce
1 TBS Oyster sauce
1 TBS Sugar
1/4 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp dark soy sauce

Recipe for moo shu wrapper sauce

4 parts Hoisin sauce
1 part water
Place the dried black fungus into a warm bowl of water, allow to soak for at least 10 minutes, drain from water and set aside.

Cut the green onion into matchsticks and set aside Cut the rest of the veggies into matchsticks and side aside. Cut the pork into matchsticks and set aside. Mix together your sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame sauce sugar and dark soy sauce and set aside.

Place about 2 TBS of oil into a pan and heat the minced garlic until it puts off a good smell, add the pork and when it's about halfway cooked place all the veggies other then the green onion into the mix. Add 1/4 cup of rice cooking wine and allow the mixture to cook for about 30 seconds. Add in all of the mushrooms as with the black fungus then add your sauce, Once everything is mixed together push everything over so you can add 2 eggs into the pan, scramble the eggs and mix everything together lastly add the green onion to the pot. Toss everything together and plate.

Take the mooshu wrappers and place on a plate, cover with a wet paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds.

Take your slightly watered down hoisin sauce and spread it onto the moo sho wrapper, add the moo shu pork, wrap then eat!
