Default thit heo kho nuoc dua, my version :)

Essentially the same recipe as Jeff.
Same ingredients, except for a couple.

My list includes,
-3lbs of shoulder pork
-1 large minced garlic
-1 TSP of garlic powder
-1 TSP of kosher salt
-8 LG eggs
-4 TBS of sugar
-3 TBS of fish sauce
-6 cups of Goya Coconut Water
-2 cups of water
-5 TBS of sweet chipotle sauce
-2 TBS of non-salted butter
-2 TBS of Vegeta spice
-Bottle of your favorite red wine
Cut pork into 2-3" square.
Bring a pot to a med/high heat.
Brown pork.
Onced browned, add garlic, salt, sugar, fish sauce to pot.

-Boil 8 eggs for 8mins.
-Run under cold water, take shell off and place eggs in a bowl.

Leave on med heat for 30mins.
Add water and coconut juice.

Put a lid on for 30mins, put to med/low heat.
Put the 8 eggs into pot.
Take lid off, bump heat to med heat, let cook for 60mins.
Turn on high heat for 5mins.
Cut the heat and place pot aside.

Bring a small pot of brown rice to a boil.
Let boil for 6-8mins.
Drain and put in a bowl.
Add butter and vegeta.

Thanks for the post! You can't go wrong with this dish, it's sooo good.

GT could you do me a fav and upload your pictures to the server? just click "advanced options" then click upload picture. That way if you ever close out that account or those pictures get pulled, they'll still be here.
