| Search around your area for an Asian market, they can have some of the best darn prices for meet. I like buying whole tenderloins and trimming them myself. It's well worth the extra 5 minutes it takes to cut them, bag them, and freeze them. for the money that you'll save. $6.99LB at my local market sure does make it worth while. For the people who worry about their products being unsafe, I dont believe it. I think they're just as safe as any other store, it's all a matter of reading the labels and dates. I've yet to have a single problem with Asian market chicken or beef. I think they're cheap because their over head is nothing like the larger stores and they sure do move tons of food. They're ALWAYS busy. Please register or log in to remove this ad and the ads attached to all the pictures |

| I guess you've never had a 4" thick tenderloin =) Unless you ask for it to be cut to your liking, you can never find a tenderloin precut at your local store that isnt a tiny 4-6oz piece of meat =( sad but true, I think they sell more when people feel they get more for the money by buying two stakes at 8-10oz total VS one 8-10oz steak. If I'm not doing tenderloin for dinner, Im cooking up porterhouse. that way I can still get a piece of tenderloin =) p.s I replyed into your message, thats why it's edited. my bad.... =) I keep hitting modify rather then quote =( |
