Default Cheap tenderloins

Search around your area for an Asian market, they can have some of the best darn prices for meet.

I like buying whole tenderloins and trimming them myself. It's well worth the extra 5 minutes it takes to cut them, bag them, and freeze them. for the money that you'll save.

$6.99LB at my local market sure does make it worth while.

For the people who worry about their products being unsafe, I dont believe it. I think they're just as safe as any other store, it's all a matter of reading the labels and dates. I've yet to have a single problem with Asian market chicken or beef. I think they're cheap because their over head is nothing like the larger stores and they sure do move tons of food. They're ALWAYS busy.

I guess you've never had a 4" thick tenderloin =)

Unless you ask for it to be cut to your liking, you can never find a tenderloin precut at your local store that isnt a tiny 4-6oz piece of meat =(
sad but true, I think they sell more when people feel they get more for the money by buying two stakes at 8-10oz total VS one 8-10oz steak.

If I'm not doing tenderloin for dinner, Im cooking up porterhouse. that way I can still get a piece of tenderloin =)

p.s I replyed into your message, thats why it's edited. my bad.... =) I keep hitting modify rather then quote =(
