| Name of place The Keg. A steakhouse with a difference. | The Keg Steakhouse & Bar Type of food Steak House, Price per head $25.00-$35.00 per person Quality of food Over all very good. Quality of service Our server was very nice and friendly. also the atmosphere is very nice, We ordered (listings taken straight from the online menu) MUSHROOMS NEPTUNE, Wine simmered mushroom caps with crab and cream cheese. Very tasty, however the mushrooms were very small. still a very nice dish over all. FILET CLASSIC Wrapped in pepper bacon for extra flavor. I ordered this with no bacon. the steak was cooked as requested, med/rare, While the steak had a great texture, I found that the seasoning had a bit to strong of a jerky flavor, jerky as in beef jerky. While I would not have minded the flavor on a cheaper piece of meat, I found that it was too strong for a filet cut. TERIYAKI SIRLOIN Our sirloin steak marinated in our own Teriyaki sauce. This steak was also cooked as requested, med/rare, it was a bit tougher then the filet as expected. had a nice teriyaki flavor that for a sirloin wasn't too powerful. it worked out rather well. both steaks were Served with a Caesar salad, vegetables, mushrooms and a Keg SizeŽ baked potato, for one of the steaks we changed out a baked potato for some mashed potatoes. also we ordered a side of frizz onions (crispy fried onions) they were good as crispy fried onions can get. To drink we had a nutty banana martini and a Malibu mango mixed drink. Over all, I think the price was a tad too high for the quality and portions of food. I give it a 4 out of 5.
