(have not tested this recipe) 14 oz can of condensed milk 1/2 cup Key lime juice 1 teaspoons grated lime zest 2 egg yolks. Preheat the oven to 350o In your mixing bowl, mix the milk, lime juice, and the tsp of lime zest, then add the two egg yolks. Pour the filling into the prebaked pie crust. add your meringue and cook for 12-14 minutes or until the meringue is at the desired color. let pie chill in the refrigerator over night before serving. Let me know how it turns out! NOTE if you're worried about using raw eggs, you can use pasteurized eggs. |
