Default French Bread Pizza

Quick, easy, and cheap, depending on what toppings you use.

1 loaf of French Bread (fresh is best)
1 small jar of pizza sauce
Cheese of choice
Toppings of choice

Preheat oven to 450.
Slice bread in half.
Put sauce, cheese, and toppings on bread.
Cook in oven until cheese is melted and bread starts to brown.

If using fresh veggies for toppings, I recommend pre-cooking them. Raw veggies tend to release some of their waters when cooking, which can make the cooking process longer or let your bread get soggy.

+1 on pre cooking veggies.

I use to do this as a kid on English muffins.
