Default Need some diet help

Well, I know the car guys will understand this. I think i'm looking for a combination of impossibles. Kinda like having cheap, fast, reliable.

I'm working hard to get in shape right now. I'm trying to cut fat but keep up my muscle mass. I can eat healthy just fine, but it gets expensive.

Heres what I need.
A lot of protein. so i don't lose muscle
Make in less than 45 minutes. because i'm lazy and on the go.
Cheap. cause i'm poor
Low calorie. to lose fat

I can sacrifice it being yummy if it's healthy and easy.

currently i'm on a pretty strict chicken, oatmeal, salad, brown rice diet and some other little protein items.

TIA

Supplement your protein with whey. low cal (120)and high protein (26g).
Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Instantized Whey Protein Double Rich Chocolate -- 5.15 lbs - Vitacost

soy and whey snack bars are good to go between meals too.
I like these-favs are choc/PB and Peanut toffee
Zone Perfect Nutrition Bars -12 case

They are higher in cals and lower in protein than the drink mix above, but taste excellent in my opinion. The drink is pretty good too and the "instantized whey" mixes much easier than the older whey drink mix products from years ago.

Sounds about right, but, wheres the fish? tuna and salmon are awesome.
I'm also a big fan of NATURAL peanut butter, from what I understand your body can easily process it, as long as its not the normal sugar filled type.
I also enjoy cottage cheese. either mixed with fresh fruit or just some salt and pepper.

i like fish also. cans of tuna don't exactly do too much for you though.

I need something filling. Full meals. I always seem hungry. I try to grill on the bbq as much as possible. cottage cheese is good to. I just need food to keep my protein levels up so I don't lose muscle mass.

I make a dish that's Turkey bacon, nonfat cottage cheese, garlic, parsley, and whole wheat pasta... It's got moderate amounts good carbs, lots of protien, low fat, and reasonable calories. And it's delicious, and takes 20-30 minutes to make with minimal effort.

Take 6 strips of turkey bacon, cooked (Shop for low fat. Should be maybe 1.5g per slice, and 3g protien.), and combine in a food processor with a handful of fresh parsley and 2-3 cloves of garlic. (Depending on how much you like garlic. I like garlic. :D) Chop untill fine. And 1 serving cottage cheese. to this mixture, then put on cooked pasta. (1 serving.)

Easy. The longest part is boiling the water.

(These amounts arent exact... I make it by eye. Experiment around and season to taste.)
