Default Valentines Day Dinner?

Hey guys my girlfriend and I have decided not to go out to dinner for valentines day and I told her I would cook this year (she cooked last year cuz I had an exam next day).

So what would you recommend I make.

I'd like to do something fancy but I dont have access to really fancy stuff just regular grocery store stuff.

I was thinking maybe a couple course dinner?

I like beef, chicken, and some seafood like crab, lobster, salmon, and cod. I would like to do some kind of combo. Vegetables can be pretty much anything as well.

Anyways what would you suggest. I appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Chuck

I'd do

Lamb Chops

or

Beef Roast

for the main dish.

Mushroom Risotto
One side dish.

The way I enjoy Green Beans
for another side dish.

Maybe make some dinner rolls or buy some high quality ones from the baker.

Super Simple Mascarpone Dessert
for dessert.

Everything listed is very easy to make. the only hard part is trying to time it.

You could do the mascarpone dessert tonight, you could do the green beans ahead of time and even the risotto.

If you do the beef roast, you could easily make the side dishes while the roast cooks since it takes a good 3+ hours.

all simple stuff. and very tasty!
