| WE just purchased Cooking Mama for the Nintendo DS. It is a cooking games based on completing dishes in a minigame-wariorwareesque style. So Mama has food listed. Each food has many steps to completed it, such as rinsing rice, cook as directed (stiring, blowing, adding ingredient, lowering heat), chopping vegetables, grilling fish, panfrying meat, etc. Each step in a recipie is timed nad has to be completed in the time. Depending on how well you do in each step of a recipe you can get no medal, a broze medal, silver and gold. There is also a section to play to combine recipes and experament. As one plays a long more recipes are unlocked. Its a cute game, not the best game ever, can use more recipies, and play is mostly initialized with the stylus, which i love. If you have a DS check it out! Playing this game made my crave Japanese food, so we hit the Mitsuwa a week later. ha!
