Default Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Crystal City, VA

Went on a double date with my best friend and his girl, along with my girl on Saturday, the 31st of Jan.

First things first:
Ruth Chris Steakhouse
Steak is the specialty
Appetizer/Salads/Entree/Dessert - $100 a head. Add more for drinks of course
Quality of food was amazing to say the least.
Service was SUPERB.

Pulled up to valet park, paid the guy then and he took the car. Hit the elevator and walked in to the restaurant. It's one of the top floors in the hotel its in. Immediately loved the place. Walls were lined with wine racks. The view was nice, over looking DC. We sat down and when drinks were offered, it came with 3 kinds of water. I ordered a Jack and Coke to start the night off.

Calamari for the Appetizer, can't say its the best that I've had, but it was close. It had been a while since I've had it, and it definitely hit the spot.

The girly ordered a Salad: Vine Ripe Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella Salad

I ordered the T-Bone, Medium, with a stuffed Lobster tail to go with it. The girly had a petite Filet, Medium Rare. My steak was phenomenal, easily the best piece of meat I've ever had. Her filet melted in my mouth. Delicious.

We also ordered mashed potatoes to split between the two. The girly also wanted some broccoli au gratin, which was DELICIOUS.

I finished my meal quickly, and still wanted more. My friend tried to tackle the 40oz Porterhouse, and maybe got 15oz's in before he hit a wall. I kept trying to steal some but he wouldn't let me. By this time I was on my third J&C and was having my best night out in a while. Everybody finished their meals and our waiter (Nathan, still remember his name) came by offering desserts.

The girly got the Creme Brulée. Honestly, it's the first time I've ever had it. I never order dessert at a restaurant, but I'm glad she did.

My friends girl got the Fresh Seasonal Berries with Sweet Cream Sauce which was also amazing.

I don't want to sound like a broken record with all the positive comments on the food, but it truly was amazing. Everything that happened just made the experience better. At the end of the night, after parking, the meal, and the tip, I spent a little over $250 on the two of us. $30 of that was drinks, $20 was parking, and $40 was the tip.

I'll go again one day. Can't wait, either :D
