Default Phil's BBQ-San Diego

Overall Rating:
4 out of 5

Type of Food:
The name says it all.

Price Range:
It can vary, depending on what you want. They have BBQ pork, chicken, beef, ribs, and other stuff. The ribs are pricey, about $12 an order if i remember correctly, but they are worth it. The sandwiches are good. The El Toro, the beef sandwich is about $7, and the BBQ chicken is about the same, both are really good. The fries are great, taste like they are made right there.

Atmosphere:
You can call in you order or order when you get there. Basically you order your food, find your own table, then go up to the counter when they call your number. On the weekends, competition for a table can be fierce to say the least, so be ready to pounce on one when it becomes available.

Service:
The service is awesome there. Phil is always there working with everybody else, and makes sure everyone gets great service. They have went as far as remaking my food, without me asking, just because i took too long to get there to pick it up.

By far the best BBQ in San Diego, but not the best I've ever had of course.
