| I'm not sure what's more tender. Any meat if cooked right is tender. however dollar for dollar pork tends to be cheaper, For the same money you can get better cuts of pork then you could with beef. as far as it being more tender.... I guess it depends on whos cooking it =) P.S, once again I hit the modify rather then quote. that's why your post was edited. |

| once again depends on the cut, and for the record, I never beat any meats. I see no reason for it unless you're trying to flatten it out for cutlets and faster cooking times. Take a filet mignon, you can eat that raw and it would be tender. once again it's all about the cut of meat. When dealing with beef and fast cooking I stick with tenderloins, or porterhouse/tbones. I cook them 3-4 mins tops each side. Also make sure when using cheaper meats that you cut it against the grain this will let the meat fall apart easier when chewing. Pork is cheaper then beef so dollar for dollar you can get a higher quality cut of meat for cheaper. that doesnt mean pork is more tender. unless you count dollar for dollar =) |

| usually i tend to cook pork a little more than i do my beef, so i think its not more tender than beef. thats probably all in the way i cook it though. can you even [artially cook pork like you would beef? I know that sounds stupid, but i never really even thought about doing that. |
