Default Easy Chicken and Mashed Patatos

Hey everyone I thought I would share a really easy chicken dish that takes really no time at all. I am a teacher and my fiance works fairly late (7ish) and this dinner saves us everytime we don't want to cook an elaborate meal.

Chicken:

Ingredients

4-6 chicken breasts thawed
3 green onions sliced thin
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1/4 cu
1 pad butter ( I use cooking spray)

1)Trim and wash chicken breast while pan is heating over medium/high heat. 2)melt butter/spray pan and add chicken breast. 3)Brown Chicken over medium/high heat. 4) After chicken is browned on both sides add the green onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. 5) Add in the can of soup and 1/4 cup water - mix. 6) Bring to boil and reduce heat - cook for 8-10 minutes (or until juices run clear. ENJOY

Chester's mashed patatos:

4-5 Idaho patoes
Ranch dressing
Garlic Powder
Milk

1) Peel and cube 4-5 Idaho patatos and bring to boil in pot. 2) Simmer patatos until cooked through. 3)drain patatos and place back in pot. 4) Using your weapon of choice start to mash patatos. 5) While mixing add in 1-2 cups of ranch dressing depending on taste, 1/4 cup milk and 1 tablespoon of garlic powder. 6) Mix until desired consistency.

When I make these patatos I usually tweak my amounts of Ranch, garlic powder, and milk to suit my desired taste or the tastes of my guests. Remember to make extra because you will want more.

Yeah it sounds weird at first but the ranch makes for some really smooth and creamy mashed potatos. I kinda happened on it by accident one night when I realized that I had little milk left and was forced to scramble.
