| This is definitely a bachelor easy meal. I make it low sodium because of my restricted diet (KFC, Popeyes, and deli fried chicken is a nono for me - too much sodium)... Using a standard frydaddy - Like this one - small electric deep fryer Target : Presto® Fry Daddy® Deep Fryer ![]() 1. Thaw and wash chicken wings. 2. Place chickenwings in a bowl and fill with buttermilk. (remember if you don't have buttermilk, you can substitute regular milk and a couple spoonfuls of white vinegar). 3. Soak for 30 minutes in fridge. 4. Pour 2 cups all purpose flour, 1-2 TBS of garlic, 1 ts of black pepper, and 2 TBS of poultry seasonng in a bowl. 5. Pull chickenwings out of buttermilk and dredge in dry mix. 6. Drop into frydaddy and fry for approx 10 min. (you can test a piece by piercing the chicken with a knife and making sure juices run clear and its done). My fry daddy holds 4 wings, and it's what I had for dinner. I used Canola oil, but peanut oil, and cricsco is supposed to be the best, it's all about the same to me (not enough of a difference to matter for this quick meal). And of course if you're lazy you can just stop by KFC, but my health resrticted diet does not allow me over 1500mg of sodium per day. SO most of my food has to be prepared at home, and absolutely no canned goods (except fruit-like peaches, pear, pineapple, etc)... Make some mashed taters and gravy or whatever you want to go with the chicken. Please register or log in to remove this ad and the ads attached to all the pictures
