Default Friendship Bread

Does anyone have a good recipe for a friendship bread? I've tried a few in the past, and for some reason, they never come out to my desire. Any time I have gotten a portion of the dough/ingredients and added to it before splitting it, it's been great. I'm looking for the right stuff to start the batch before splitting it up and sending it out to friends/family.

Thanks!

I've always heard it called friendship bread. I've heard it called Amish bread in the past, but I'm sure there are other names for it.
