| Tacos rule! too bad its hard to find a good taco in North America =( This recipe makes about 8 tacos 1lb of carnitas Carnitas (little meats) 1 batch of basic salsa de tomate http://www.handsonkitchen.com/forum/...y-pupusas-472/ 16 corn tortillas I really like the ole brand 1/2 lb of queso de fresco cheese 1/4 onion diced 1 small bunch of cilantro slices of lime to serve with the tacos Place everything out so its easy to get to. I like to wrap the tortillas up in a damp paper towel and microwave for 30-45 seconds till they're warm you could also place them in a warm oven for awhile with a towel over them either way, as long as they're warm you're good to go. Take 2 tortillas one or top of the other and build your tacos. start with the meat and add everything else in whatever order you like. serve with a slice of lime on the side, squeeze the lime onto the taco and eat. I'm not sure why you use 2 tortillas all I know is every time I get tacos from any legit Mexican joint they serve it with two. I guess it helps reinforce the taco.
